It's the morning of day 2 or riding my bike for 4 days in a row.
Below are pictures from day 1, which was yesterday.
Today i plan to ride from two to four pm. On my mountain bike. On the trails down by Blue River. It's pretty amazing down there. Or maybe i'll ride downtown, it's pretty amazing down there.
I'm currently in what i would describe as 'decent bike riding shape for a 44 year old dad with a full time in office job.'
About six weeks ago i did the Little Sugar mountain bike race in Bentonville, AR. It was 30ish miles and i suffered big time.
But i did prepare somewhat seriously for that event and while that didnt really translate to a stellar race it did lead to some very above average fitness for me in the weeks that have followed. And the weeks that have followed have been some absolutely killer bike riding weeks. Fitness and weather is colliding in a supernova of "oh yeah i'd forgotten how magical bike riding can be when everything clicks!"
So...
I plan to ride my bike 4 days in a row.
Day 2 awaits!
