I need your help! Where is the good singletrack in Colorado?

X and i are planning a mountain bike trip to Colorado this summer and i'm wondering if anyone out there has recommendations on where we should go and were we should ride.

Fruita?
Durango?
Cortez?
Breckenridge?
Colorado Springs?
Crested Butte?
Telluride?

I used to make it out to Colorado all the time but it's been close to 10 years now plus i've never ridden my Mountain Bike out there. Same thing goes for X. After some quick googling i'm a little overwhelmed by the options.  Ideally we're looking for trails that are fun, long, not too technical and have good views.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

  3. crested butte, hands down. you can hit 3-4 days of epic loop rides of 30-40 miles each day and never touch the same trail. also free camping all over near town. that said, i live in GJ/Fruita area, and there's tons of high desert ST out here, its just dryer and hotter.
