Riding on Wednesday

More pedaling tonight. 

Inertia has been easy to come by and life is pretty good at the moment.

I even got a small taste of the street cred cross race I missed last Sunday. 

Have I mentioned that X is back to playing roller derby? We're an action packed household lately. 

It's a new year and now I drink scotch while I ride.

It's 2014 and I'm back. 

At least for now.

Tonight I got back to riding after a 10 day break, that turned into a 7 day break, that turned into an 8 day break. So 8 days total of no riding. Not much really.

After clearing my pedals of dried mud from the cross off the old year cx race i was off. Roughly 3 minutes into the ride I thought to myself, "this is fun". It's good to be back.

I rode to my folks house to pick up some Game of Thrones DVD's and steal some booze.  (They're out of town and apparently I still do things like that).

Upon returning I jumped on the trainer to watch my shows and even do a few intervals. 

I'm motivated for 2014 but as you can see I've also taken to carrying a flask on rides so who knows how it's all going to turn out.

More info on the stolen bikes from Volker Bicycles

"December 27th 3 pinarellos were stolen from our store. Thieves broke our door down and just took the bikes.   There were no pedals on any of these bikes, and the marvel had barmitts installed on the bars.   The marvel and rokh were both 53-55cm sizes with ultegra 11 speed and fulcrum 5 wheels.  These bikes are 2014, brand new, we haven't sold any at all in the region so if you see something, just call my cell phone 9136178318."

Stolen Bike Alert (Volker Bicycles - Pinarellos)

Im a few days late on this but the good folks over at Volker Bicycles have been robbed of three Pinarello road bikes. Here it is from Britton at Volker...
